HOMEWARD BOUND
Choreographer/professor Efva Lilja (Sweden) has directed a unique film in HD format in collaboration with the Swedish film production company Deep Sea Productions. For the first time in Swedish dance history a piece entirely performed under water! Homeward Bound premiered on October 7 2005 at the SHOOT - Dance for Screen festival in the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm. Since then it has been shown around Sweden, in Norway, Italy, England, Holland, China, Greece, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil and most recently at The American Dance Festival in Durham, USA. In Italy it won a first prize at Il Coreografo Elettronico XIV Festival Internazionale di Videodanza in competition with 130 films from all over the world.
