WATER STORIES
Choreography and direction by Nancy Zendora, director of the New York based Zendora Dance Company with Russian performers Alina Michaelova, Evgenia Andrianova, Helen Boutts
In this performance, accompanied by sounds of water and other natural and musical elements, Russian performers dance with small lights creating a moving work around rituals of water. This performance is inspired by images in the exhibits such as the Tlingit of Northwest America and the peoples of South East Asia. Its timeless quality draws viewers into a space of consciousness which links past and present.
