Darya Brucker
Born in Kolyma, 1982. In 2003 Darya graduated from the Vygotsky Psychology Institute (RGGU) and in 2009 graduated from the Rodchenko Photography and Multi-Media School in Moscow (class of V. Kupriyanov; qualifying exhibition in the ARTPLAY Design Center on the Yauza river, project “Photosynthesis”). The artist is a member and coordinator of the international project in Yaroslavl region titled “Uchma – Modus Operandi” (2007), participant of the summer school for contemporary art “Green Art in the Green City” in Nizhny Novgorod (2008), “Russia-Siberia-Kemerovo” project in Kemerovo (2008), Moscow International Photo Biennale (“Rut” project – part of the students’ exhibition “Locus Communis”, 2008), project in Zosimova Pustyn’ “Life in the Monastery” (2009).
