Kerim Ragimov (1970)
Kerim Ragimov graduated at the Roerich School of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg in 1989. Since 1994 he works on series of paintings, based on photos, among these the Human Project series, which was exhibited at the Tirana Biennale of 2001, at the MuHKA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in Antwerp, Belgium, as part of the show ‘Horizons of Reality’, 2003, and at the recent Moscow Biennale of 2005. His Metro series, paintings of the public space surrounding the underground buildings of St. Petersburg, haven’t been exhibited yet.
