Russian transrational poetry and absurdist texts were set to music. The works included Velimir Khlebnikov’s Scratch on the Sky (1920) and Zangezi (1922), Alexei Kruchenykh’s Theatre Sounds, the verse libre of Ivan Akhmetiev (born 1950) and Ilya Zdanevich’s transrational drama Janko, King of the Albanians (1916) from the aslaAblichia pitYorka dEistf cycle.

Pas de Mythe
The theme of the concert was music for an imaginary ballet on a mythological subject in the form of a concerto for a solo instrument and ensemble. The composers chose the subjects themselves. The heroes were Orpheus (viola) and the Lernean Hydra (cello), Psyche (flute), Tyche (accordion) and others.
