Alexander Blok's Shirt (5 September - 3 October 2003)

For the first time in the history of the museum, the third exhibition of the Shtuchki cycle showed only one exhibit - a traditional Russian shirt once belonging to Symbolist poet Alexander Blok. The modern section of the exhibition consisted of works by local artists Pyotr Bely (Memorabilia of a Fan of Russian Poetry installation) and Alexandra Kaurova and Maria Zaborovskaya (Blok's Soul and Body installation). The program of accompanying lectures was compiled by Natalia Tsendrovskaya (curator of the Alexander Blok collection at the Museum of the History of St Petersburg).
