Entering Three-Dimensional Space: Object and Installation. The talk will be devoted to artists' venturing into three-dimensional space since early 20th century, from Vladimir Tatlin's counter-reliefs and Marcel Duchamp's readymades to minimalist and post-minimalist objects and contemporary installations.
Olesya Turkina is a PhD holder in art history, curator, critic, a leading researcher at the Contemporary Art Department of the State Russian Museum, an associate professor of the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Board Member of the Curatorial Research programme at St. Petersburg State University.
