Andrey Rudyev’s practice spans painting, collage, assemblage, object, and installation. He has exhibited in various solo and group exhibitions and art residences in Russia, Germany, France, Austria, Sweden and other countries. Laureate of the St. Petersburg Government Prize in Culture (2017). In 1993, Andrey graduated from the Monumental Painting Department of the Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design in St. Petersburg, in 1986-1987 studied at Film Directing Department of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. Member of the Russian Artists Union since 1994. Currently based in St. Petersburg.
Veronika Rudyeva-Ryazantseva is a multidisciplinary artist, she synthesizes video, painting, drawing, and installation. In her practice, she addresses identification and post-humanism issues, her characters are symbols of time, place, and generation. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Perm, and Helsinki and participated in the 1st Moscow International Biennale for Young Artists (2008, Moscow), Busan Biennale (2012, South Korea), the 2nd and 4th Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art (2012, Yekaterinburg, 2017, Nizhny Tagil), and a parallel program of the Manifesta 10 — European Biennale of Contemporary Art (2014, St. Petersburg). In 2007, Veronika graduated from the Monumental Painting Department of the St. Petersburg Stieglitz Art and Design Academy. She is a graduate of the PRO ARTE Foundation’s School for Young Artists (2008). Currently based in St. Petersburg.
