In times of crisis, leaders experience extra pressure and have special responsibilities. The Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation seeks to support cultural leaders in various ways, including educational and grant programmes. The School of Museum Leadership in 2020 responds to the challenge.
The program is addressed primarily to Russian museum professionals, staff members of museums and museum organisations who have leadership positions, want to upgrade their professional skills and are willing to develop their institutions.
The programme will begin with six online public lectures by renowned museum experts. After that, the lectures' audience members who are successful with their application will be able to take part in online seminars and, together with experts, test the viability of their project ideas, as well as apply for individual grants.
PRO ARTE Foundation is the project partner and the programme operator.
